SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Information for Non-Agented Authors
Due to a small staff and other considerations, Independent
Scholars Press no longer reviews non-agented submissions and
we take no responsibility for unsolicited submissions. Authors
who wish to find a literary agent to represent them should consult
Writer’s Market or Literary Marketplace, both of which are
available in most public libraries.
Information for Agents
Independent Scholars Press publishes serious non-fiction in
the areas of history, religion, biography, and social sciences.
We are dedicated to well conceived and well argued works that
promise to stimulate dialogue and that will have a long shelf
life in bookstores and libraries, as well as within the classroom.
Please do not send the entire manuscript.
Independent Scholars Press does not accept manuscript proposals
via e-mail.
